 The Harley Shop, LP began as B & W Harley in 1976 and was located at 412 North High Street in Longview, Texas. In 1980, Keith Calhoun and Jeff Brown purchased the dealership and incorporated it as "The Harley Shop." From a modest beginning, the dealership was staffed and operated by the owners and their wives. Today, The company has over 40 loyal and dedicated employees at two locations who are committed to maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. | | As motorcycling became increasingly more popular along with the resurgence of the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company in the 1980s, the Longview dealership grew and expanded. In 1997, The Harley Shop moved from its High Street location to its new and spacious location at 3400 North Fourth Street in Longview. In 2000, The Harley Shop continued to expand and opened Texas Thunder H-D in Nacogdoches, Texas. Though smaller in size, this second store still offers the same great sales, service and staff as the Longview store.  |
