 The Harley Shop, LP began as B & W Harley in 1976 in Longview on 412 N. High St. Keith Calhoun & Jeff Brown purchased the dealership in 1980 incorporating it as "The Harley Shop."
From a modest beginning the dealership was staffed and operated by the owners and their wives. The company now has over 40 loyal dedicated employees at two locations, committed to maintaining customer satisfaction.
| | As motorcycling became increasingly more popular along with the resurgence of the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company in the 1980s, the Longview dealership grew and expanded. In 1997, The Harley Shop moved from its High Street location to its current spacious location at 3400 North Fourth Street in Longview.
In 2000, The Harley Shop continued to expand opening Texas Thunder H-D in Nacogdoches, Texas. Though smaller in size, this second store still offers the same great sales, service and staff as the Longview store.
